Fitness Friday Fact #47

100 years ago today, Babe Ruth stepped up to the plate for his first major league at bat.  Over the course of 22 seasons, the Babe achieved slugging fame by hitting 714 home runs!  In order to reach such status, the Baseball Great needed to have exceptional lower body rotational strength.

Although I am not sure what type of fitness regimen Ruth followed, I am certain that this updated exercise would have kept his upper body and core strong, while allowing his hits to keep on coming!
